Embark on a memorable journey for a great cause during Great Endeavour Rally Weekend Edition. Meandering through the picturesque backroads of the Scenic Rim and Southern Downs, this event is not just a casual country drive; it's a blind navigational rally, where half the fun lies in unravelling the notes and getting you and your team to the next checkpoint.

As you traverse through winding dirt roads, enveloped by the lush greenery of national parks and forests, expansive views of the majestic mountains of the Great Dividing Range, and the serene beauty of hidden valleys, the joy of the unknown awaits at every turn.

Adding to the sense of community, the rally includes checkpoints manned by friendly officials. These checkpoints not only guide your route but also ensure that laughter and enjoyment are as much a part of the weekend as the driving itself.

Suitable for all types of vehicles, this event passes through small country towns and past iconic country pubs, allowing you to experience the local hospitality. Whether you're a car enthusiast, an adventure seeker, or looking for a meaningful weekend activity with friends or family, this weekend rally offers a unique blend of mystery, fun and adventure. But this weekend is more than a scenic adventure and a test of your team’s skills; it's an opportunity to make a significant impact by raising funds to help people with disability live, learn, work and flourish.

With limited spaces available for this event, gather your team, prep your vehicle, and join us on this remarkable journey. Together, we'll enjoy the local sights, all while driving change in the lives of others.

frequently asked questions

What sort of vehicle do I need to take part?

add remove

The great thing about the GER Weekend Edition is that it is accessible to most vehicles.  If you have a reasonable amount of clearance (around 300MM), tyres in good condition, and a sense of adventure, you won't have a problem.

So, if you have a 4WD you are good to go. If you are thinking of giving it a go in a 2WD, keep in mind we are driving on dirt roads that can be a little rough at times.

All vehicles that take part in the event must be registered as per state government requirements. If you have a conditionally registered vehicle outside of a club registration, please reach out to us

Will I damage my vehicle?

add remove

Whether or not your vehicle is damaged while taking part in the GER Weekend Edition comes down to the way you drive. You will be driving on some narrow dirt roads, so the chance of a few scratches and stone chips is always present.

Do I need anything extra on my vehicle?

add remove

Yes, we insist that all vehicles are fitted with an orange rotating flashing light and that you have a UHF on board. A handheld UHF with a decent range is suitable for the GER Weekend Edition.

Do I need off-road driving experience in order to take part?

The great thing about the rally is that you will join a truly remarkable group of people. Everyone is there for the right reasons - to enjoy each other's company; to help each other out should the need arise; to raise money for people with disability and have the experience of a lifetime.

What can I expect?

The Great Endeavour Rally Weekend Edition is your chance to experience what a fundraising charity rally is all about without the 7-10 day commitment. You will get a chance to see some stunning countryside just over an hour from Brisbane. The best part is you will join a fantastic group of people we like to call the rally family.
