I've created this page to make a difference in the live of people with disability
Hello! Welcome to our page!
Our names are Jamie and Ainsley and next year we are partaking in our ever first rally! We are extremely excited to go and take our 1999 Range Rover with us!
Now our reason of why this is EXTREMELY important to us.
The Endeavour Foundation is an independent, for purpose organisation established in 1951 with a vision to support people with an intellectual disability to live their best life - starting with equal access to education and life-skills learning.
Jamie has a sister named Heather. Heather is a very special and important person in both of our lives and we want to help her, and her friends live their lives to their full potential. Without the Endeavour Foundation Heather may not have ever been apart of the workforce. Just like everyone else she goes to work 4 days a week (with a day off for horse riding, lucky duck!). Endeavour is not only a place of work but a place where she has made friends and that is an extremely important thing! Often people don't realise how difficult life is for someone with a disability to do those simple things like making friends. But, with the help and existence of the Endeavour Foundation this has been made possible for Heather.
Heather herself was lucky enough to go on the Super rally in 2016 and had the time of her life! From then Jamie’s parents, Jimmy and Avril decided they wanted to go on the Rally and have been on the last 2. Now, we thought they can't be having this much fun without us... so this year we have bought a car and will be joining them as well! We can't wait to start our preparation on the car and also begin to raise funds for such a worthy cause!
