SIMPSON DESERT ADVENTURE
The Simpson Desert Adventure
Postponed from 5-14 August to 7-16 October 2021
Each day off the beaten track will see you travelling through expansive private properties, and taking in picturesque Australian scenery few others will ever get to see. This is a solid opportunity to enjoy breathtaking scenery by day, and relax with an epic yarn by the fire at night.
Starting from St George you’ll travel on roads very few have driven, tackle some of Australia’s most iconic tracks including The Strezlecki Track, Walkers Crossing, Warburton and Birdsville Tracks along with the K1 line.
Visit places along the way that are written into Australian folk lore, Tibooburra, Cameron's Corner, Poeppel Corner, and Birdsville. To top off the true blue experience, we have been given exclusive access to a major cattle stations boasting classic Aussie outback home life and hospitality.
The Great Endeavour Rally does more than raise money for people living with disability, the little towns we pull up stumps in for the day also receive a welcome cash injection thanks to you and the overall rally crew. The local community groups or schools that supply catering throughout the adventure cannot wait for you to roll on into town.
As the adventure winds down, it'll be time to roll up your swag (or pack down your tent) as we head to Charleville the final leg. Here you can relax with your new found friends at the final dinner, sharing the tales of your adventure over a few beers for the last time as a group. Well, at least until next year.
Plus, from start to finish, you and your crew can relax in the notion that the Great Endeavour Rally is fully supported by the Australian Defence Force and RallySafe tech.
