About the Luncheon that Stops the Nation
Introducing The Luncheon that Stops the Nation!
You're invited to host a Melbourne Cup luncheon that proves we can still make "possible" happen in our daily lives, and in the lives of people with intellectual disability.
Endeavour Foundation’s annual Melbourne Cup Luncheon has been a highlight event for our community of supporters. However, as services across our community remain affected due to the impacts of COVID-19, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel our physical luncheon in 2020. It’s because of that we’re bringing you a different kind of way to celebrate this year’s Melbourne Cup.
This great time for a good cause is our way of giving everyone, wherever they are, a chance to live life to its fullest.
For one glorious day, you can ditch the usual work from home wardrobe, get together with friends and colleagues, and get in on a fun, fashionable celebration as it sweeps across the nation.
We encourage you to make the most of it. Dig into good food, compete on sweeps, and share in fun takes on classic activities knowing that we’re all celebrating together.
Join us on November 3 for a luncheon to remember.
The work your luncheon will support
Endeavour Foundation believes that people with intellectual disability, recognised amongst our most vulnerable and marginalised Australians, should live their best life.
It is this belief that underpins our support for people with intellectual disability through services based on the basic rights that so many others take for granted; including access to learning, living in a safe home, and having a job.
To ensure this, we also actively champion equality, inclusion, and accessibility in the home, workplace, and the public. This is what it takes to ensure people with disability can aspire for more, in their daily lives and with their life goals.
