A tribute to Christopher

A tribute to a beautiful life.

In supporting our love and memory of Christopher, we welcome any contributions to help make a difference to people who live every day with a disability.

Christopher was supported by Endeavour Foundation, Gold Coast who made the difference for him.  He started attending Learning and Lifestyle (L&L) in the 1990’s, an Endeavour funded program providing choices of daily activities for those with the more complex disabilities.  In 2002 Chris moved into an Endeavour supported home located at Southport where he happily lived with his extended family until September 2022.   

By supporting people with a disability in this special way, we can all ensure they can live their best lives, now and in the future.

The work being done by Endeavour Foundation reflects the legacy our family is honouring.

Christopher – An account from those amazing Endeavour Support Staff who loved and cared for him daily.

Christopher began his journey with Endeavour Foundation Gold Coast in the 1990’s.

With his big cheeky grin, he won the hearts of those around him. He was known as the king of basketball with an exceptional aim.  Christopher would play outside for hours. He also enjoyed activities such as Tai Chi, swimming,  exercises, Ten Pin Bowling, soccer, and Drama. Christopher was a very infectious man, always involved and lighting up those around him. 

Christopher loved listening to a range of music and attending Crossroads, where he would get up on stage any time the opportunity arose.

Christopher really enjoyed swimming especially weekend outings to the beach with his wonderful mother, Eileen; and more recently his fabulous Endeavour Staff.

Christopher always had the unconditional love and support from his family, which contributed to Christopher living a fulfilled life.

Christopher will be dearly missed by all.
