Welcome to Home Run

Our event

Home Run is an all-abilities fitness event that gives everyone the chance to knock their goals out of the park in their own way and time.

This virtual event isn’t about proving how fit you are or breaking a sweat, it's about breaking down barriers between what's possible now and what can be possible tomorrow. ‘Hitting a home run’ is a metaphor for realising a great achievement – and in this case, it’s setting yourself a personal fitness goal and working towards it, while also supporting people with disability to achieve their own personal life goals.

Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just getting off the couch, this is your chance to shine.

Home Run allows you to take on the type and level of activity you want in a way that’s right for you. You can run, walk, dance, kayak, roll, skate, swim - anything and everything is possible - it's just a matter of having a goal of doing it daily for 30 minutes or more each day in May, while raising vital funds to support people with disability in your community.

Why Home Run?

In life, we all have personal 'home runs,' or goals, big or small, that we want to achieve. But not everyone is on the same playing field. For people with disability, there are hurdles that can make it more difficult to find meaningful work, live independently or participate in the community.

That’s where you come in.

As Home Runners for Home Run, your support can help to level the playing field. and empower people with disability to learn life skills, live independently, secure fulfilling jobs, and actively engage in local communities.

Together, let's help everyone achieve their personal home runs, no matter the obstacles.
