Inside the Great Endeavour Rally Weekend Edition

08 Apr 2026

Now that a few weeks have passed and the dust has settled, one thing is clear - the Great Endeavour Rally Weekend Edition delivered in every way that mattered.

From the early morning arrivals in Toowoomba to the final convoy rolling into Nindigully, the weekend was packed with challenge, connection and community spirit. Together, Rally participants achieved something truly incredible.

$77,115 Raised

Thanks to the commitment and generosity of Rally teams, an impressive $77,115 was raised across the weekend.

Not only did that surpass the original $75,000 fundraising goal, it also set a new Weekend Edition record — a powerful reminder of what’s possible when people rally together for a cause.

Turning Fundraising into Real Outcomes

What makes this achievement even more meaningful is knowing exactly what it will deliver.

Funds raised from this year's Weekend Edition will support the installation of a Vertical Form Fill Seal Machine at Endeavour Foundation’s Mount Druitt employment site. Once operational, this equipment will open the door to more meaningful employment opportunities for people with intellectual disability, helping individuals build skills, confidence and independence through supported work.

This is the real purpose behind the Rally — turning dollars raised on the tracks into lasting, life‑changing impact off them.

Where the Weekend Began

The Rally officially kicked off in Toowoomba with a relaxed breakfast prepared by staff at the Endeavour Foundation site, bringing teams together before the journey ahead.

A huge thanks goes to Jim Livingstone Fabrication and Hutchinson Builders Toowoomba for making the morning possible. Beyond the Rally itself, partnerships like these continue to create employment opportunities, with participants gaining supported hosted employment both on-site and with Hutchinson Builders in Toowoomba — a fantastic example of impact in action.

The Rally Experience: Challenge, Laughter and Community

Once on the road, the navigation challenge delivered exactly what it promised — keeping teams thinking, guessing and occasionally taking the “scenic route”.

There were wrong turns, some creative decision‑making… and even one team that managed to get bogged three times (possibly a record). But true to the spirit of the Rally, no one was left behind. Teams stepped in to help each other, reinforcing what makes the Great Endeavour Rally so special: a community that looks out for its own.

A Night to Remember at Nindigully Pub

After a big day on the tracks, everyone came together at the iconic Nindigully Pub, for a well-earned chance to unwind.

With great food, plenty of stories and a strong sense of camaraderie, it was one of those nights that turns a driving event into a shared experience. A big thank you to Dogga and the team for putting on an incredible dinner and breakfast that didn’t disappoint.

Supported by Sponsors Who Make It Possible

Events like this don’t happen without the support of generous sponsors. A heartfelt thank you goes to:

  • Custom Lithium, powering innovation and supporting the Rally community
  • Transport Field Services, keeping things moving across the weekend
  • McCormack 4WD, backing the 4WD community with trusted gear and support
  • FleetCrew, providing vehicles for the full 9‑day Great Endeavour Rally
  • Network Car and Truck Rentals, supplying the spares truck and backing the Rally year after year

Looking Ahead: Ready for the Full Great Endeavour Rally?

If the Weekend Edition left you thinking “that was great — I’d love to do more of that”, you’re not alone.

The full Great Endeavour Rally takes place this September — a 9‑day adventure across some of Australia’s most remote and spectacular tracks. And if you took part in the Weekend Edition, here’s the best part: your fundraising already counts toward your Great Endeavour Rally total.

With the Rally already 80% sold out, now’s the time to secure your place and be part of something even bigger.

The Bigger Picture

Beyond the kilometres travelled and the laughs shared, the true impact is clear.

Because of this Rally:

  • More people will access meaningful employment
  • More opportunities will be created
  • More individuals will feel valued, included and part of a team

That’s the real success of the Great Endeavour Rally — and it’s one you can be part of again.
