My target 75 Sit-ups

I'm taking part in the Sit Up Challenge - and I need your support!

This May, I’m taking on the Sit‑Up Challenge to celebrate 75 years of the Endeavour Foundation and raise funds for people with intellectual disability.

Now, full disclosure, I’m a mum to twins, and my current idea of “fitness” looks a lot like the frantic morning runaround: getting two kids ready for school, hoping they’ve eaten enough breakfast, and wondering (again)… did I sign that excursion form?

I love my morning coffee, my not‑so‑secret vice is Cheese Doritos and a glass of wine, and I’m definitely not as fit as I’d like to be. So yes, this challenge is going to be just that, a challenge.

But every sit‑up I do, and every dollar raised, isn’t really about fitness. It’s about creating change. For 75 years, the Endeavour Foundation has been creating opportunities, breaking down barriers, and helping people with disability live their best lives.

Your support will help fund vital services, technology, and programs that ensure people with disability are seen, supported, and included, today and for the next 75 years.

So, if you can, would you donate the price of your next coffee in exchange for a few sit‑ups from me? ☕💪

Thank you for supporting me, cheering me on through every sit‑up, and helping keep this incredible legacy strong.

Day 1 of 75 Sit-Up's!

Friday 1st May

Well, I am glad I put in a bit of training, otherwise I think I would be stuck to the floor.

I broke my sit-up's into blocks of 25. I did a set before I took the kids to school, a set at about mid-morning and a final set before I went to school pick up. And I rewarded myself with a slice of cake!

75 Sit-ups done. ZERO cake regrets

One sit-up turned into thousands!

What a fabulous weekend the Soccer Carnival with Springfield United Football Club was! You can read all about the weekend here: How One Sit Up Turned into Thousands, and a Community Stepped Up to the Challenge

Thank you to friends and family who donated and who came to take part in our Sit-Up Challenge and grabbed a raffle ticket. It was an epic weekend.

Community Support from Springfield United Football Club

Tuesday 14th Apr

I’m so grateful that my community is getting behind the Sit-Up Challenge! This weekend at the Springfield United Football Club Mini Roos Carnival, I’ll be running a Sit‑Up Challenge station and setting a club goal to see how many sit‑ups we can smash together 💪

I’ll also be selling raffle tickets with some amazing prizes, including:

  • A double pass to see Urzilla Carlson (thanks to Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre)

  • An Epic Hair Designs $200 gift pack (products + salon voucher)

Drop by and see me, I know there will be plenty of kids with enough energy for a few sit ups in between games, I know mine will!… maybe even some parents?
