My target 75 Sit-ups
Team Preston are taking part in the Sit Up Challenge - and we need your support!
This May, staff from our Preston office are taking on the Sit-Up Challenge to celebrate 75 years of the Endeavour Foundation and raise funds for people with disability.
Every sit-up we do and every dollar raised isn’t just about fitness, it’s about continuing a legacy. For 75 years, the Endeavour Foundation has been creating opportunities, breaking down barriers, and helping people with disability live their best lives.
Your support will help fund vital services, technology, and programs that help people with disability to be seen today and for the next 75 years.
Please join us in keeping this legacy strong. Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference.
Thank you for helping us make every sit-up count, and for supporting a movement that has changed lives for decades.

Sit Up Challenge - Day 4 - finding my Village
Tuesday 5th May
At the conclusion of Day 4, and I’m currently sitting at a total of 445 core-based activities—mostly sit-ups.
One of the biggest highlights so far has been the support from my fantastic PT, Christina at WithIn Reach Fitness. Not only does she keep me accountable, but she’s also been incorporating group sit-ups into our warm-ups and introducing me to a variety of complementary core exercises. These additions are helping me build strength in a more balanced way, while still aligning with my broader gym goals.
A key takeaway from this challenge is learning to shift perspective. Instead of focusing on what I can’t do, I’m choosing to focus on what I can do. Modifying exercises to suit my current ability isn’t a setback—it’s part of the process. With that mindset, this challenge feels not only manageable, but genuinely achievable.
Each day is building consistency, confidence, and a stronger core—physically and mentally.
On to Day 5.

Sit Up Challenge - Day 1: Let's GO!
Friday 1st May
Day 1 is officially here!
After plenty of conversations, encouragement, and a few attempts to rally a bigger crew, it looks like we’ve landed on a dedicated team of five—and honestly, that just makes it even better. A small but committed group, all ready to give it our best.
For me, the day kicked off strong with 30 sit-ups before even stepping into the gym. Then, during our session, the fabulous Christina from Within Reach Fitness made sure we didn’t take it easy—adding another 20 sit-ups into the warm-up.
So before 6am on Day 1, that’s already 50 sit-ups done and dusted… plus a solid mix of other core exercises thrown in for good measure.
Feeling motivated, focused, and ready to stay consistent. To keep myself accountable, I’ll be finishing the day with at least another 25 sit-ups.
Day 1: strong start, and we’re only just getting going. Let’s see where this challenge takes us!
